In exploring limitation, self-acceptance provides a platform for expanding potential. Katalyst Move provides a physical and emotional forum to explore the self through martial, somatic and bodyweight drills.

Movement and Awareness Training

Sessions are relaxed and informal; a safe space for natural learning. Wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move, sit, or lie in; you may go barefoot at times. Bring yourself, open and ready to explore. We’ll start with breath, movement, and relaxation, then ease into partner exercises and playful discovery. It’s not about perfection; it’s about presence. Every moment is a chance to connect,with yourself, others, and the space we share.

Here, we don’t rush. We don’t force. We simply show up, for ourselves, for the moment, and for the connection that unfolds when we move together.
Our indoor sessions are designed to help you reconnect with your body, quiet the noise, and move with purpose. No grand plans. No rigid expectations. Just you, your breath, and the space to explore what’s possible,one moment, one breath, one step at a time.

Outdoors Sessions

The world lives outdoors and provides all the resources required to build awareness, ability and skills, enhancing the natural resilience that we already possess. Katalyst Move training sites provide the necessary environments to explore mobility, co-ordination, psychological drills promoting well being and personal safety.

With 15 years of martial and movement disciplines, I discovered that movement is the currency of connection. Learning and instructing Aikido, Tai-chi, and Russian martial arts provided stepping stones into a deeper personal movement practice. A practice of playful and explorative exercises that bridge the physical and emotional self. Deepening my habit to build good habits I actively participate in training programs from disciplines of animal locomotion and bodyweight exercise to expand deeper understanding of my somatic self.
